Larta Institute's 2022 and 2023 Impact Reports showcase the organization's dedication to fostering innovation and driving sustainable change. These reports highlight key programs, milestones, and the visionary entrepreneurs Larta supports, while also serving as vital tools for fundraising and inspiring future initiatives. The engaging designs and compelling content make them essential resources in promoting Larta's mission for a more sustainable, equitable future.
I played a key role in shaping both reports, contributing to their design and visual storytelling. For the 2022 report, I created the cover illustration—featured on merchandise like t-shirts—and designed the entire layout. For the 2023 report, I developed the layout and cover concept, ensuring alignment with the report's themes and goals. Both reports have become powerful tools for showcasing Larta’s impact and supporting future initiatives.

Illustrating Larta’s Mission:
The 2022 Impact Report
The 2022 Impact Report cover began as a passion project, inspired by Larta’s core focus areas: environment, agriculture, cleantech, bioscience, marine, and education. During quieter times at the office, I took the opportunity to create a design that visually unified these themes. What started as a hand-drawn sketch in Adobe Photoshop quickly evolved into a vibrant, dynamic illustration in Adobe Illustrator. The clean vector lines and bold colors were carefully crafted for both digital and print, ensuring they translated seamlessly onto the cover and even onto t-shirts.
The cover’s visual energy and powerful symbolism became a key element of the report, resonating deeply with Larta’s mission. This bold design also set the tone for the interior layout, which was developed with the same principles of clarity, accessibility, and visual appeal, ensuring the report communicated Larta's impact with maximum effectiveness.
Designing the Future: The 2023 Impact Report
The 2023 Impact Report was crafted around Larta’s new focus areas: nature preservation, food, water, and energy systems, and building equitable, healthy, and resilient communities. These themes were brought to life through an interconnected circle design, symbolizing Larta’s pivotal role in advancing its 'Sustainable Planet Thesis: Our Impact, Investment, and Portfolio Strategy.'The layout is clean and modern, with bold, vibrant colors that create visual contrast and energize the page. This dynamic design not only showcases the interlocking themes but also reinforces Larta's commitment to driving sustainable, impactful change across all its initiatives.
