This section includes all design and copy work I've done for social media posts. Some of this work was done in collaboration with other marketing professionals, while others were curated entirely by myself as a Social Media Specialist. It was created using multiple design programs, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects and shared on many social platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

"Embrace the colorful future of ocean-based, renewable inks with Living Ink , a featured alumni company in Larta Institute's 2022 Impact Report! 🌊🎨
Led by co-founder and CEO Scott Fulbright, Living Ink is harnessing the power of #algae to create carbon-negative alternatives to petroleum-based inks.
Inspired by the resilience and versatility of algae, Fulbright realized the potential for producing vibrant pigments from renewable sources. With Living Ink's proprietary technology, they have developed a range of eco-friendly inks currently available on the market, perfect for printing on various materials, including textiles and packaging.
Partnering with renowned brands like Patagonia and Nike, Living Ink has already made an impact in the industry. Their products are being used to print tags on clothing, ensuring sustainability throughout the supply chain. By replacing petroleum-based carbon black with Algae Black, Living Ink is not only reducing carbon footprints but actively removing carbon from the atmosphere.
With a focus on scalability and commercialization, Living Ink has received non-dilutive funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) of Energy and the National Science Foundation (NSF), alongside support from private investors. Larta Institute has worked closely with Living Ink, assisting them in creating a robust commercialization plan to drive their success.
Congrats to Scott and the Living Ink team on all of your progress and the successes to come!

"How can food access, nutrition education, and community partnerships transform the LA ecosystem and economy? 🌱
Prosperity Market, one of our esteemed #VentureFellows featured in Larta Institute's #RootedHorizons report, stands out as a shining example of action and opportunity.
Kara Still and Carmen Dianne founded Prosperity Market in 2020 which aims to transform the Los Angeles ecosystem and economy as a mobile farmers market that provides a platform for small Black farmers and food vendors.
Operating as a ‘farmers market on wheels’, Prosperity Market rotates in several locations in the LA County. They also offer business courses that they developed to help farmers with their operations. Prosperity Market’s mission is to help their partners to expand their businesses.

"Los Angeles County is a major powerhouse in the food industry. With food exports up to 6.5 million pounds and imports up to 7 billion pounds, it plays an important role in the global food supply chain. However, due to less access to fresh produce, the county faces high levels of food insecurity.
Larta Institute and the Los Angeles Food Policy Council (LAFPC) have worked together to explore the agricultural landscape, examining existing assets and identifying the needs in the urban agricultural network that could be met by urban and philanthropic investments.
To combat food inequality, local authorities are turning to urban agriculture which has the potential to nourish and strengthen the socioeconomic and health fabric of these communities through a number of services.
Our Rooted Horizons report explores innovations, barriers, and opportunities to develop urban agriculture in the LA County, kickstarting the LA Food Equity Roundtable’s comprehensive strategic action plan and also coming at a pivotal time as the USDA prepares to open a new Urban Service Center in the city of Compton.
